Most writers–and many readers–groove a particular channel of popular fiction, but some of us are magpies.
For me, what holds together all the pop lit I have consumed, taught, critiqued, and written is a certain weirdness that twists across every aspect of fiction.

I’ll also be posting about some of my big loves, such as adaptations, and continue my arguments against the snubbing of pop fiction, something I’ve written about for decades.
